It was done. Jacob had deceived his father and once again tricked his brother Esau.        Now it happened

as soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob

and Jacob had scarcely left the presence of his father

that Esau returned from the hunt with venison.  And he also made savory meat and brought it to his father.        “Rise up

my father and eat of your son’s venison

” said Esau

“and then let your soul bless me as you have said.”        Isaac sat up in great surprise.  “Bless you? Who are you

then?”        “I am your firstborn son

Esau

” said the hairy man.        And Isaac’s old body started trembling all over. Something here was very wrong

and his distress was great.        “who? Esau? Then who was it that prepared the venison and brought it to me before you came? For I have already eaten

and I have blessed the one who brought it.  And the blessing remains his; blessed he shall be.”        When Esau heard the words of his father he cried out with a great and bitter cry

for he know at once that it was Jacob who had received the blessing meant for him.  “Bless me

too

my father!” he pleaded.
事情就這麼結束了。

也把他哥哥伊沙耍了。

當依薩克祝福過雅各

雅各才剛離開他父親之後

伊沙帶著獵到的鹿肉回來

並且煮好帶到父親身邊。

“父親

請起來嚐嚐兒子做的鹿肉”

伊沙說

“並給我您答應的祝福。

”依薩克驚訝地坐了起來

“祝福？你是誰？”“我是您的大兒子伊沙呀。

”這個一頭長髮的人回答。

依薩克整個衰老的身軀開始發抖

事情不對了。

他非常傷心。

“是誰？是伊沙嗎？那剛才在你之前煮好鹿肉帶來給我的人又是誰？我已經吃過

而且祝福了那個帶它來的人。

祝福是他的

他已經得到了。

”伊沙聽到父親的話後發出痛苦的哭喊

他知道雅各又一次得到了原屬於他的祝福。

他懇求父親 “爸爸

請也把祝福給我吧!”
